OLPC Founder, Dr. Nicholas Negroponte has confirmed that Amazon.com will be the distributor for the "give a laptop, get a laptop (G1G1) starting on November 17. It will retail for $399.

Dr. Negroponte also indicated that:
“It will not be dual boot (Windows and Linux), but may have a Linux standard desktop as well as Sugar.” This decision is not yet finalized. He also revealed that the first 100,000 or 150,000 customers participate in the program will get the XO system right away.
